Parkland Library asked the Puget Sound Pirates if we would be willing to put up a historical and educational display about pirates for the kids to enjoy seeing when they came to the library to check out books.  We agreed and suggested they also publish a list of childrens books that they have on hand about pirates, that would help the children to find books about the subject easily. 

Parkland Library was very generous with their time and help and the display we set up remained in place, near the front door of the library for a full 30 days, the entire month of April 2009.
