The Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain Tall Ships, in Grays Harbor, Washington http://www.historicalseaport.org/
The Lady Washington is a full-scale reproduction of the original that in 1788 became the first American vessel to visit the West Coast, Honolulu, Hong Kong, and Japan, pioneering the trade between the newly independent United States of America and the Orient. The Hawaiian Chieftain is a steel-hulled representation of the trading vessels common in the Hawaiian Islands during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Both offer education sails and battle sails.
The Privateer Lynx is a reproduction of an 1812 tall ship. The Lynx provides on-the-water education for individuals of all ages and ship board tours and battle sails are available.

Many of the world’s most famous tall ships graced Thea Foss Waterway on Tacoma’s waterfront between Thursday, July 3 and Monday, July 7, 2008. Held approximately every 3 years, it is a celebration of the tall ships and their contribution to our history. They are due back in Tacoma hopefully the summer of 2012. DON'T MISS THEM !!!
